Cozy vs Buildium vs Rent Manager
How's it going, BP people?
I'm looking into a website or software to use for the back end of our rental business. We're still in the early stages with only 2 tenants, but I want to be ready to scale up when the time comes.
I've taken a brief look at Cozy, Buildium, and Rent Manager. What do you all use and why? Did you stick to a single one, or move from one to another as your portfolio grew?
Thanks in advance!

@Harry Harrell - Starting out I kept everything in my head. Then once I got to 25ish tenants I picked up Buildium. It was a game changer. It made my job as a property manager 100x easier for many different reasons. Now we are pushing 100 units, and Buildiums flaws are starting to show. Now we're looking at Appfolio and will probably make the switch. I always hear people say "I wish I should have made the switch sooner" because it takes a lot of time and effort to get all of your tenants and systems switched over to a new way of doing things.
So with that said, pick something NOW. A logical progression would be
Cozy - Buildium - Appfolio
What you do will depend on how quickly you're going to grow. If you're going to get 20+ more units in the next year, I'd say skip Cozy and go straight to Buildium. And if at that point it's looking like you're going to 3-4x that tenant count, then jump into Appfolio ASAP.
