Anybody Use Fiverr for Interior Design??

Question

I am no pro at interior or exterior design.  I was think might be a good idea to hire someone to help me out with a few BRRR's I have coming up.  I was thinking Fiverr might be a good resource.  Has anyone had experience good or bad with Fiverr designers?? Any recommendations for me?

Hi Timothy! I am an interior designer in NJ. I work with contractors and homeowners in selecting materials, finishes, paint, etc. and doing spaceplans, renderings and custom designs for homes. I personally have never used Fiverr....I have used upwork to connect with clients and found that it can be difficult to communicate through the freelancing websites for the client.

I would try to reach out to people you know and see if you have any luck finding referrals. Maybe find a local real estate investor group and find out if there is anyone that you can connect with that can pass along a name to you. It's best to find an interior designer that works specifically with investors/flippers/rehabbers so that they understand the necessity to save money and meet your budget and who understands the need for different quality finishes for different level of projects, low-high range. What you pay for these services will most likely vary from project to project too and finding someone through a freelance website might stick you with a higher price tag.

I started out flipping houses and now work specifically with rehabbers for the interior design side of things all over the country (and Spain!) so I'm happy to help out if you need anything :)
