Best CRM for Realtors?

Question

Hi! My name is Jazmin, I am a fairly new Real Estate Agent in Miami, Florida who’s been struggling to find a great CRM for my clients.

I’d love some recommendations for apps that can help me regularly follow up with each one of my clients.

Please let me know what you use and how you like it :)

@Jazmin A Schaeffler - I'm an agent in the Asheville area.  The new Command CRM (KW), while still under development, I think is going to be very powerful (not sure if you're with KW or not).

That depends on the CRM.  I am currently spending a few hundred per month getting on lead generation which gets me a few buyers.   Proper CRM is well worth the money very cheap to get in... The trick for everything working is the human side of things and being consistent.

@Spence Kal We use kvCORE at eXp (would cost $300/month if broker didn't provide it).  SUPER powerful, though it takes a decent amount of training to take full use of it.  Customizable MLS integrated website, squeezes contact info of visitors, create custom seller/buyer/market report squeeze pages, multiple ways to generate free leads, lots of integrations to pay for ads and retargeting with the leads plopping right in and getting marketed to, drip campaigns, market reports, property reports, newsletters, mass texts, segmentation, thanks.io integration, bomb bomb, voicemail drop, text codes for leads (text "house" to xxx-xxx-xxxx for a list of 3 bed homes under 200K!).

My leads ARE my leads.  I can take them with me, export them, etc.  But I'll never need to. :D

@Jazmin A Schaeffler I think looking for a CRM definitely comes to down to your business needs and the features you would require. I suggest looking into Hubspot since it provides good customization and automation tools.

You might very well start out with spreadsheets until you are pumping enough profit to start paying for CRM's and marketing. Brivity is great but extremely expensive.

The best CRM is the one you use, even if that is a spreadsheet.

However KW Command is very powerful and growing by the week. Gary Keller announced a few years ago that KW will go from an education company to a tech company, and the man always seems to deliver.

BTW, agents own their data and clients,  you can leave any time and take it with you.

I must make a correction. Not "if," but "when". When you change brokers, it's really better to have control over your own clients in your own systems.

From the very beginning, an agent must build a business independent of his broker. The agent should make his own website, promote his personal E-mail, his phone number everywhere, set up his CRM, ... Then changing the next broker will be easy and simple.

Advice for brokers

The broker's task is just the opposite. He should offer his agent a page on the broker's website, a corporate E-mail from the broker, a phone number from the broker, a CRM from the broker, ... Then it will be hard for the agent to leave the broker.

A lot of people in the real estate business use Podio as their CRM. Podio has a free version with various upgrades available. It's super easy to use and there are several videos on YouTube by real estate investors about how they use it. Check it out.

I looked into a lot of them last year, but haven’t tried them yet since I’m still working on my license. I think Wise Agent is specifically for agents, and looks like it integrated with the MLS and is fairly cheap. I ’ve heard LionDesk is good too, but I like the looks of ActiveCampaign for its automation features and integration into a website. People switch all the time, in college we recommended hubspot a lot but the free version doesn’t do much and the paid is really expensive. They’re all good I think it’s just personal preference. Everyone I know uses Mailchimp for email and that should integrate with all of those.

Id like to know everyone’s thoughts on using their brokers CRM also, like EXP and KW, because if you switch brokers wouldn’t it be better to have control over your own clients in your own system?
