Doing a BRRR in Kansas city (MO or KS) for Mid Term Rentals?

Tanya Maslach
Posted

Hi everyone!

I'm getting (frustrated? exhausted?) while analyzing deals in my buy box in Denver for MTR's. (Using BRRR)
Prices + Loan rates + not-great-looking cash-out refi's are making me look outside CO.

Do any of you have experience in or know the real estate market for BRRRR for MTR purposes in KS (MO vs KS)?
Can you offer me some insights - Pros and Cons - to think about?

Thank you all.
Tanya

Hey Tanya - based in KC, happy to help. Generally speaking, the townships surrounding KCMO are more favorable to BRRR-MTR. Places like Liberty/Claycomo/Gladstone in the Northland, Blue Springs and the Eastern side of Independence, on the East side of town, Olathe/Lenxa KS on the SouthWest side, and more. I'd be happy to connect further and share referrals to others in the space.
