Hello! 👋

My name is Alvaro (Al) & I’m 25 years old. I’m looking to start BRRRR in the Houston Texas area in hopes to become financially free. I been waiting to dive into the Real estate game.

I’m looking for those of you who are experienced at this expertise and see if I could use your knowledge at creating something GREAT.

I’m a hard working man, dedicated and full of ambition.

I’m a serious person who is looking to grow as a person and as a business man. Here’s a little bit about myself: I served in the US Army for 6 years. Afterwards, I further my criminal justice career by becoming a US Secret Service Police Officer. During my time as an Officer I also completed my Masters degree in Management and now I still work for the government but reside in Houston Texas.

I’m looking to meet up with those of you who are serious and experienced. Possibly invitation for a dinner/brunch at my expense at your favorite place.

I WANT TO DIVE IN.

All I need is a bit of guidance.

Al,

Sounds like you have a great foundation to build from.

I would read @Scott Trench's book "Set for Life" to ensure you have a strong financial position prior to investing in real estate. It will increase your odds of success and help you out with life in general if you end up not investing in real estate.

When networking events start opening again, go to as many as you can. You'll get a pretty quick feel on who is actually doing deals and their reputation. Once you find the investor you want to model, that has a solid reputation, figure out how you can help them.
