@James Weller my father owns several properties in the Price Hill, Westwood, and Cheviot areas. While there are some pockets that are worst than others, his most recent tenants have been substantially better than what he was seeing a few years ago. He's been able to push rents up, as well as have a better selection of interested parties. He's also been able to avoid Section 8 tenants on all of his properties except for two, and both of those two have older single women living in them that are no hassle at all. Michael, appreciate hearing from you. My partners and I are from out of the area and still gathering information. We may be interested in multifamilies that we can buy at a discount, put some money into and then hold and rent. I have to make a trip to the area and hope to do that in late April. Jim Weller

@James Weller I just purchased a property in West Price Hill. Very nice. My Agent is a friend of mine from high school and she's great. I'm new to the real estate side of things, but I have worked on and inspected REO properties for about 7 years now. The Price Hill does certainly require more due diligence. I tend to stay in more settled areas that are still good values, like some parts of Norwood

Troy, thank you very much. I am still in the phase of gathering information. I am from outside the area but expect to make a trip there next month. The local broker I am working with feels that the area has a lot of potential, but as you have said, also says there are some really bad sections.
