New to BP from Hawaii

Hello everyone,

New to BP.

Aspiring RE investor with a 9-5 looking to do my first deal with house hack and eventually BRRRR from Big Island, Hawaii. Hoping to use a FHA loan to get started in West Hawaii, which appears to be challenging unless you force appreciation or buy distressed which I'm open to (but a bit nervous about pursuing being a newbie!). Wondering if there's much of a community here in West Hawaii.
