Real Estate Agent Frustrations

I may be crazy and don't hesitate to put me in my place but...

My agent, real estate investor and all around great guy is happy to configure criteria and email me listings daily, but every time I ask what seems like a salient question to me I don't anything close to a satisfying answer. I'm most commonly met with; "I'm not (fill in the job description), you should hire somebody in that line of work to get those answers.

Question: I need to have (fill in the product) installed, who is best for this job?
Answer: Here is a list of local vendors.

If we're all investors and we have each others back, is it too much to get a personal recommendation?

I'm ready to buy my next property but have cold feet continuing with my current agent. Should I stick with this person, or put feelers out for somebody else in my area who is not afraid to offer personal investing advice and support. Somebody to send over good investment property candidates instead of today's hits on your criteria from the MLS.

I'm ready, let me have it.
