I have been investing in the Richmond,VA area on some single family homes. Recently I have run into a very nicely priced duplexes in Newport News area.

I haven’t done any duplexes before, but I like the idea of investing in a building where one unit pays the mortgage and the rest is cash.

Do we have any people from that area that can give me some pointers about the neighborhood?
