Looking for a skilled and reasonably priced architect and/or draftsman in Maryland. This will be for design and drawings for a new construction single family residence in the Howard County area.

Also looking for a land surveyor who works in Howard Courty and can help with more complex tasks, like site development plans and feasibility studies.

We are an architectural firm, and with that usually comes better customer service than if you hire a draftsman (not to mention the education and the license!). True, you don't need an architect per se (although few, there are some jurisdictions that require an architect's stamp), but there is much that can be said for a good, responsive team - that's where we feel we have unparalleled value.

We have done plenty of work out of state, so the coordination issue is really no issue for us. Design in our firm is inherent. The key is getting a good local engineer for design (civil and structural, sometimes these can be one in the same, but more often not), because they will be called on to do field inspections - again, out-of-state coordination with consultants and clients, for us, is second nature. New builds are even easier, as we have a clean slate to deal with. Your topographic survey: a must for us. We "model" everything, including the land, and 3D is available if you like.

Cities and counties across the nation, as far as jurisdiction review goes, is essentially the same on the whole; site plan, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, electrical, etc., but we must go further. We research local codes and amendments to make sure that the plan review process goes as smoothly as possible.....but wait! We don't just design permit plans, we produce construction documents that further aid the builder in...well....building, and we are one phone call away with any questions that may pop up from time to time.....back to that "responsiveness" thing I spoke about before.

Send a colleague request if still interested, and we can chat more as we are most definitely interested in helping you out. We'd like to show you some of our completed projects as well.
