Hi for someone who’s a new real estate agent with a marketing degree any advice for beginning a career in real estate finance/investing?

I have no idea where to start so any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Replied

A.  Read through the zoning rules

B.  Print out a copy of the zoning map

C.  Print a copy of the proposed zoning map

D.   Make a list of positions and trades you need to get to know.  Zoning department, engineering, plumbers, electricians, hvac, attorneys, etc.  this will be your team.
E. Make an acquaintance with another realtor. If your SFH or MFH then with a commercial realtor or vice versa. Send info to them.
F .  Start doing one deal analysis every week. You need to be able to think like a buyer to sell.  You have to know the questions on the property before they ask them.
G. Develop a list of solutions for potential sellers.  Not just the most money.  How to sell?  What offers to reject?  Moving companies.   Repair companies.   Etc. Etc.  It’s more than just selling.
H.   Bring your deal analysis back to this forum with pictures and info.  Ask for critiques.
