Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

This is a buy and hold that myself and a friend invested in. We live here currently and will eventually rent it out!

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Finally had the cash. Best time to buy is 30 years ago.. next best is now

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

We used a real estate agent. Nothing abnormal with the negotiation strategy using 2-T

How did you finance this deal?

We had no special financing. 30Yr amortized loan with couple years of saved money for the down payment.

How did you add value to the deal?

No Value added yet.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

We bought in a hot market so getting an offer accepted was rather difficult. Often times before we could get an offer sent over, a house would go under contract.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

This was before I was licensed as an agent, but we used Michael Resavy who also works around the triangle.
