RealQuest - anyone using it?

I was looking at RealQuest. There was a link from a page here posted by Josh.

I noted that RealQuest is part of First American. Does anyone use the service? The 6 page write up they offer does not disclose prices. I assume I can find the prices on the website somewhere. Any comments about the pricing. Some of the tine there is a recommended package or service level.

I know Fidelity has a company that also provides data on the market. I forget the name.

So, do you use RealQuest or other similar fee based services?

Great question as I just signed up for it after a friend refered me to it. So far it is the trial version and gives a little bit of info but he swears by it. Still have my eye on sitexdata thou. I just want TRUE comps and data. My investors demand it! I have nothing against realtors but just dont use em.

Good to know. I have some deals I can look at. I tend to know what the comps are likely to be so it will be a good test of the service.

I tried signed up for their free trial, but was having issues with the comps they provided.  Even though I tried adjusting the parameters, the closest comps it was giving me was 8 miles away, and this is in the heart of Jacksonville.  I'm not sure if there was something wrong with their site or if the free trial is limited in some fashion.

RealQuest (in my opinion at least) is an excellent resource for comps, mortgage data, property detail info, lien history, etc. You don't have to pay a monthly subscribation if you don't want it. I use the service on piece meal basis (pay so much per report). The comp reports run $3 or $4 per report. Property detail about the same. Some of the reports (such as doc images, foreclosure history, etc) can get a little high ($10 to $12).

I've used realquest for a while and the part that I like besides the comps is the ability to see information on the mortgage liens on a property.

When I worked at Ocwen as and REO manage we used Real Quest. It was a pretty neat system.
