Our SFH was rented this weekend!

Hi guys!

I wanted to share with this fabulous community our REI success. This weekend we finally rented out our SFH after having it on the market for rent since October 2013. We financed a SFH 2/1 in October 2013, a bank owned REO-they did the rehab themselves, for 54,900. We put in an additional 3K and have holding costs of ~1-2K. We are all in for 60K and are renting it out for $1050/month. Our resident was so concerned about us recieving the rents on time, she predated checks for March and April's rents. It feels so great to see our dreams coming true! My husband and I our working as partners in this venture, and I am grateful to him. But I also want to thank all the the contributors to this site who've shared information about their experiences so freely, as I have learned A LOT! We are looking for another deal this week!
