Investment Info:
Single-family residence buy & hold investment.
Purchase price: $320,000
Cash invested: $16,000

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
A SFH investment made me feel comfortable to get started, so I purchased the property and lived there for 1 year and did some renovations before renting it out. I currently self-manage the property since it's my only one.

Found it on Zillow
How did you finance this deal?
30 year mortgage
How did you add value to the deal?
light renovations: bathroom, floors and patio renovation
What was the outcome?
I've had the same tenant for 3 years, it's going well.
Lessons learned? Challenges?
My realtor wasn't the best she didn't want to negotiate a lower price, and I was too excited since it was going to be my first residence, I should have negotiated a lower price and had a better realtor.
Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?
I wouldn't recommend the realtor I used.
