I want to learn!

Trista Ramirez
Posted

Hi I am a Mom of 6 looking to get my foot into Real Estate Investing. My goal is to create finiancial freedom for my family and as my kids get older I would love to create a family business and create generational wealth. My goal is to get a multifamily to help cover the mortgage and then gain a few more doors to be able to live without stressing about paying bills. I do not have a ton of money but I do have time to shadow anybody local that is willing to let me shadow them. I have started D4D and started making a list.

Good for you! First thing is to learn as much about Real Estate as you can....knowledge is power, as they say....

I'd take the RE agent course, mostly just for the knowledge, you don't really need the license. Then volunteer at a local RE office. You'll be way ahead of the game...

Learn about Construction. People don't realize what a huge advantage you will have over your competition. Volunteer with Habitat For Humanity )or similar). Attend the 'How-To' classes at Home Depot/Lowes. Read 1-2-3 Books. Watch YT videos.....

Also find a RE Meet-Up group.
