Investment Info:

Townhouse buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $218,000
Cash invested: $20,000

This is one of my rental properties in Crestview, FL. It’s in a solid, growing area with strong rental demand. I’ve kept it well maintained and focused on stability, currently rented with consistent performance. Overall, it’s been a reliable asset with good long term upside.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Challenges were being able to cash flow initially. I bought the property at 22 when rates were high. I was able to refinance from 6.375% down to 5.5%, which helped me start cash flowing. I’ve dealt with a few evictions at the property, but considering the area, that’s not very common. It’s currently rented to a family with no issues.
