AirBNB, Boutique Hotel, Multifamily WITH AN INDOOR POOL!?!?
Hello all! I am looking for some guidance. I am considering purchasing a 5 unit property in Windham CT. It is about an hour from the coast and beaches, 30 min from the Casinos (Mohegan, Foxwoods), a short drive to lots of area hiking and biking (Mansfield Hollow), and walkable to the Willimantic Downtown (Town Green, Restaurants, Parks, Library, Theater, etc. Also close to two big colleges: ECSU, UCONN.
My question is, does owning this with the pool add value? or is it just a liability? I take it I would get umbrella insurance. Because it's an indoor setup, the maintenance is much less than an outdoor pool and it can be used year round. Also, it's neighborhood is ok... but there are a lot of multifamily long-term renters surrounding it. (a plus the property next door has a couple old cars sitting around...)
So, yes. any help, advice, and opinions from your experience is appreciated! This is my first air bnb!
