Investment Info:

Townhouse buy & hold investment in Mountain Home.

Purchase price: $220,000
Cash invested: $60,000

Purchased a distressed townhouse near an active Air Force Base. Rehabbed the property and remodeled the entire unit. Rented to Air Force Airman until selling as the market improved.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The benefit of renting to Active Duty Airman and the affordable price of local real estate.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Found it through the MLS.

How did you finance this deal?

Traditional Investment property mortgage loan.

How did you add value to the deal?

Rehabbing the property.

What was the outcome?

Increased the property value and was able to rent for a couple years until selling.
