First Vancouver Rental - Tenant Moving in soon

Hi everyone just like the title says  I was able to close and take possession of my first Vancouver BC rental property. Already had some minor renovations done and have a tenant moving in on the 15th for $1600/mo.

The property is a 1 BR condo unit close to a skytrain (train :) ) asking was $300k did some back and forth and closed at $295k, strata fee is $200 a month. Put in some new crown mouldings, baseboard, refinished the bath tub spent around $3000.

Been a lurker in BP for a while and never expected to get so much information that helped me out.

Excited on getting the next couple of properties. I'm just a bit perplexed why people from BC Canada aren't too active here, I know our market specially Vancouver is on the extreme side but there are deals to be had.

@Nes Canada - It's true - there are few from BC on the board! Most of the Canadian investors are in the GTA. Either way, welcome and congrats on your first deal!
