Rent or buy while saving for multi fam
I found a single fam property which if I bought it would cost me less on a monthly basis to live in than typical local rents.
However, my goal is to purchase a multi family property. I'd like to start off with at least 10 units but will need more time to raise funds. In the meantime I will need somewhere to live, will purchasing a single-family home prevent me from acquiring multi family funding since I would already have a mortgage?
