Hey y'all My names Drew a 20 year old college junior from Virginia and was wondering everybody's approach to becoming a Real estate investor. I work part time along with school and baseball. I have set a pretty solid budget to save towards having capital to begin. I am fortunate enough to not have any bills. I take about 2/3 of my income every week and put it on my E*TRADE to make my money grow I am not overally risky since I want to build a foundation to begin in real estate is this a smart approach let me know yalls beginnings and what you guys did and give some feedback tips etc out here trying to learn

Hey Drew. Continue to save as much as possibly. I would read as many books as possible on a variety of REI topics, from the BRRRR strategy to flipping to wholesaling. You never know which aspect of investing might fit you until you read up. I would also sprinkle some money management titles in there from Robert Kiyosaki or Dave Ramsey. Also pick up the series on flipping, buy and hold, and investing from Gary Keller. Read some classics, as well, such as Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill or The Richest Man in Babylon by George Clason.
