Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $130,000
Cash invested: $30,000
Sale price: $150,000

Single family home cash flowing and rented out for ~9 years. Sold in 2018 with some equity and debt pay down.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Girlfriend moved in with me and she did not want to sell in the low market back in 2009.

What was the outcome?

Held until spring of 2018 and sold at market value.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Lots of lessons learned on my first forte into real estate investing. Too many to list here, but the most important one is to go for it!
