Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Birmingham.

Purchase price: $189,000
Cash invested: $37,800

My first investment property was a primary SFR turned rental in a Birmingham area suburb. It's in a great area, the cash flow is good and the rate of appreciation has been great.

Congratulations on your first property! Very cool! You mentioned it's good cash flow. I don't know your area, and considering the amount you have into it, I'd be interested in how how the numbers work out for you...if you don't mind sharing...
