I am thinking of real estate investment and have been looking at Plano, TX area. There is a property that i am interested and is in the Russell Creek Area. is this a good area for real estate investment and what are typical rental rates in this area for a 2200 sq. ft home (3BR/2BA) ?

Hi Kaushik,

I think its a good place, especially now. You can also look at other neighboring areas like Frisco, Allen, McKinney etc. I am sure you would have read a lot about the promises these Dallas suburbs offer. Btw, are you looking at having this as your primary home?

In the meanwhile, I can refer you to a blog for list of things you should consider when buying a home in the Frisco Plano area.
