I am planning to move to Dallas. TX. I am looking at a few places like Frisco, Little Elm. Celina, Prosper etc.

Which suburb holds the most potential for faster growth (in 5 to 10 years)?

These are some factors to consider:

- Are you planning to invest or live?

Any specific investment strategy like house hacking?

- How many are in the family? Do you need good schools?

- Commuting how far is your office?

These are only some. We can keep adding to it depending on your needs.

The areas that you mentioned are where most tech companies are situated. I would add Flower Mounds to consider if you are looking to be close to the airport too.

However, investor friendly areas are Fort Worth which is growing a lot.

Yes, I see Frisco popup in my searches around Dallas area. I am looking for a single family home with 4/5 bedroom and about 3000 sqft. Even new homes or houses to be built are also ok.I see a new development - Village on Main Street in Frisco.Anyone know about this development and the builder?

We are retired and have no plans to work (other than work from home).

Budget is around $700K with about 3000 sqft, preferably ranch style. New or to be built also is OK.

All those are high growth areas, but might have significantly different price ranges.

What is your budget?

Any kids in school?

While of course there can be exceptions in any of the cities I would rank them in order of price range, Prosper most expensive, probably $1mil and up, then Frisco, then Celina and then Little Elm where you might be able to get in for $350,000 or slightly less.
