Local August home sales down 13%...
this is only local data, but the August 2014 home sales as compared to August 2013 home sales are down 13%. Not a good sign for home sellers here. The median price here is about $160,000.
The sales of houses over $400,000 is the strongest since 2008 here, and the most volume of sales is below $200,000.
