Feds move to streamline aid process for homeowners:

Ooh, let’s see, maybe I can get bailed out:

1. Must be 3 months behind. Nope, never missed a payment.
2. LTV must be 90% or less. No dice, I actually made a down payment and used a mortgage that amortized.
3. 38% of income to housing payment. Uh uh, I can actually afford my payments.

Dang it! Never again will I be responsible and do something stupid like buy a home I can afford or take out a mortgage that makes sense or use a down payment. Next time I’m putting zero down and using a Pay Option ARM so that I can get bailed out. How could I be such an idiot?
