Thoughts about environmental impact on market? (Phoenix)

William Pa
Posted

I recently came across this article: https://www.12news.com/amp/art...

It references a larger study by ProPublica and Rhodium Group: https://projects.propublica.or...

What are people's thoughts.  Is the conclusion that areas in Phoenix, among many other counties across America will be uninhabitable in 30 years an argument that holds weight or fear mongering?

Does it impact investor's decisions to invest in these markets that may be deemed riskier?

there is alot we dont know. the earth's atmosphere is very complex with lots of feedback mechanisms. when i studied geology in college the concern was indeed climate cooling. that being said, temps should warm up in Canada :)
