Hi All!

I’m just starting out in real estate and am running analysis on Lancaster, PA (specifically Lancaster City). Property appreciation there is pretty crazy (11% last year, 11% projected this year), but I’m worried that rents aren’t keeping pace. Anyone have any insights on this market that they would share? Keeping in mind also that property taxes in Lancaster County (and PA in general) are pretty high.

We have seen a big increase in rents the last year. As of right now, I would say yes, but if prices continue to rise then maybe not. But if you know your rents before you buy and know your numbers that is what will make the deal or break the deal.
