I want to add bandit signs to my marketing and was wondering is there any fines or laws for having bandit signs up in the Raleigh/Durham area? Any advice or info would be greatly appreciate it. Thanks

@Henry Moore

Hey Henry,

Pretty much every town I know of in wake county will pull them down eventually. Cary/apex won't leave them around for very long.  I have no idea about Durham.  Johnston county doesn't seem to care about signs so it may stay up for months there.  I drive around a lot for work and notice signs go up and the next day they are gone.

As far as fines, go I assure you if you push it too hard they will figure out away to come after you. My suggestion is to not to bandit signs and instead focus on driving for dollars if you have a limited budget and don't want to pull a list and mail people.  The main reason for that is with bandit signs you'll have everyone calling from people upside down on their mortgages to marginal equity owners and hopefully a few people that actually can sell at a price point where it makes sense for you. If you can capitalize on every type of lead then best of luck and read up!
