Anyone rely entirely on internet marketing?

Question

As opposed to bandit signs or even direct mail?  Would like to hear more from those who get more than the occasional lead from internet based marketing efforts.  Would also like to hear from those who have tried but have since switched to something else such as newspaper ads and/or direct mail.

Bandit signs for me are not really doable in my case since my farm area is getting rather nasty toward them. Also its too far of a drive in friday evening traffic to put them out every weekend.

I definitely make use of internet marketing, but I wouldn't recommend relying entirely on it for your business.  It's like the old saying goes "Don't put all your eggs in one basket".

If you put all your marketing time, money and effort into a single internet marketing entity (SEO, PPC, etc.) and something horrible happens, you have to start all over again.  Diversify your marketing efforts both online and offline and more importantly, track as much as possible to see what works and what doesn't.

Now a days internet became a massive part of every business. I do rely on it specially in marketing our properties.

Online marketing is my specialty. I recently put up another website for REO homes and it has been doing quite successfully for the one month it's been online.

The internet is powerful, and the new storefront for many businesses. Not only that, but it allows you to expand your market and leverage your time.

If you have $300-400 per month, you can create a great campaign. I believe I started online marketing with only $100 per month.

But like what Cary said. What compels leads are landing pages. You need to get a good landing page, or otherwise, a very action-oriented website.

No they should go to the landing page which will be setup to peak interest enough to get them to click on the link for the form to request more information.  I haven't fooled with my website in quite some time now and I get mortgage leads from them strickly from the natural searches now.  I get about 2 or 3 leads a day.

I could go as high as maybe $300-400/month for now, Im just starting out.  Yes, I do have a website to send them to and a form they can fill out.  Should they be sent directly to the form, if the url is easy to type ?

I think newspaper ads work well if you have somewhere to send them.  If you have a website to send prospects to then I think you will have a better lead flow.

You should really focus on more than one way to market yourself.  When you notice one isn't working well, you can fine tune it but you will have others coming in from different sources.
