Real Estate Appraiser?

Hello All,

I work full time and would like to transition to a full time job in the real estate community that would open doors for investing and networking.  I have been looking into real estate appraising and wanted to get some feedback from people on BP as to if that may be a positive route to take.  I would have to take classes and and start out as an apprentice, and I am ok with that.  Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Joshua Morton

Becoming an appraisser in most states is a long process andcan be difficult if you need to work fulltime to get by for next 2-3 years. But, i also see the need for appraisers jn the future is only going to grow. Many appraisers are growing older and near retiremnt. Good Luck.
