Dplex Building Advice

I have some raw land located in El Paso, Texas and would like to build a duplex to rent out. My question is, what type of loan do I look for when wanting to get a loan to build a Duplex. This duplex would not be my primary residency, just an investment property. I would give my land as a down payment if needed.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

Abraham M.

You need a construction loan. Talk to a mortgage broker that has experience with those. You also need a general contractor with a good credit score, because the bank will vet him as well as you.
