Webinar Ad Copy - What Pulls?

We are working on building some webinar material. I think our material will be first rate when it is done.

Where we are struggling a bit is with figuring out what pulls the best for ad copy to get people to the webinar. What pulls for you? Specifically, we will use:

1. Email blasts to our list...tens of thousands of people
2. Tiny urls to landing pages circulated via social media

So what is needed is:

3. Nice clean copy that is visually appealing for group 1 above. The copy should also pass the spam filter and entice people to view the material and sign up

4. Some catchy Twitter-like feed for group 2 above in many instances

Have you used these techniques before? If so, what pulled? Any words of wisdom are appreciated.

State that it's 100% content and upsell free. That usually pulls in people who mistrust webinars because most are nothing but upsells.
