Is this fine for a yellow letter?

Most people on here advocate hand written yellow tablet paper with red ink. I like to send out typed brightly coloured paper with my business name. Typed looks more professional in my opinion. I also have their name and property address on the letter. It makes the letter seem personal instead of generic.

you really need to include their first name and property address.  You may want to remove  1) deeply. 2) everything after "at" Other then that good job...

I find I get as better response if I am more direct. Your wording is a little too tentative. Your handwriting is fine. I could read it and it looks personal.

I would say

I was driving around your neighborhood and noticed your house. I want to buy your house.

Please call me after you have read this letter at

XXX-XXX-XXXX

I look forward to talking with you.

The paper should be yellow and the ink in red. The envelope should be handwritten and have a real postage stamp.

Should the envelope be written on with red ink as well?

I've thought about the more professional look with my company on it, however just because so many people here advocate yellow letters I figured I would give it a shot.

I wrote a letter like the one above and typed a letter that I described. I showed the two to friends and family and asked which one they would respond to. No one voted for the hand written letter because they said it looked like the person would not be able to buy anything. Maybe my voting poll was too small but the consensus was that perception is everything.

"Professional" is not who they want to be dealing with. I vote for write them and good job. Never ask for anything at anyone's convenience if you want it to get in front of their list of all the other clamoring priorities. They have them - you are competing make it simple and clear. Post results of this campaign weekly if possible.

Should the property owner's real name be placed on the letter? Or would it be better to say Sir / Ma'am?
