What platform will you suggest using to find deals?

Hi All,

I’m looking into platforms that provide property and ownership level information. The company that I work for uses Reonomy, but the information is often inaccurate or missing. I tend to use it more for property level analysis. I understand that the contact info is not going to be 100% accurate, but I’m trying to find a system that can deliver some degree of accuracy for me and my team. I am researching a system called “PIN” through Connected Investors as well, but I’m not entirely ‘sold’ as of yet.

Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on these two or any other systems that have given you results? Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks Will, I appreciate the feedback. I’m a CRE mortgage broker, so I don’t have access to the MLS. We have a Reonomy subscription, but there are more inaccuracies than we anticipated.

In terms of investing, in trying to start a business, but want to get organized first. I’m pretty new and am narrowing my searches to multi family deals in NY that either are in estate, have liens, or pre/foreclosure. So I’m trying to create a system before diving in head first. Will definitely look into your recommendations - thanks!

Hi @Justin Henry!  If you happen to be a licensed real estate agent and your MLS uses CoreLogic then RPR and Realist are great tools for this.

Recently I met with a BizDev person at Stewart Title and we talked through how they can use two Title Research tools to help me target investments, so it occurs to me that this is a possibility with most title companies.
