Eviction advise - Niles , IL

hello,

Little hard to believe, my very first real estate invest, the new tenants has not pay her first rent. She did pay the deposit but she has been late one week on her first payment! She is giving me lots of BS excuses blaming the bank , etc. 

My first mistake was not listening to my wife, she told me not to giver the keys till she make the first payment (live and learn). What are my options , should I look into eviction now before we get too deep ? I need to look into the eviction rules in Illinois , any advise or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
