Here is your first lesson: Fill out your profile. If you are serious about anything, let people know who you are and what you are looking to do in the space. Use a very similar profile picture over the different platforms of BP, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. This way people know which Thomas Shaw that you are.

Look up my profile here and then on Facebook, LinkedIn, or wherever. You will know its me. Plus there are only a few people with a similar name as me. But you know when it says San Antonio, it has a picture of me or me and my wife, you know it is me.

Also, every platform should say that you are looking for deals, money, knowledge, whatever.
