Sewer Line Repair / Replacement

Tom Markoe
Posted

Hi Folks,

I have a single family home in a suburb of Saint Paul, Minnesota that I rent out and have had to clean the sewer line typically annually or bi-annually.  The sewer line has a "belly" from the house to about twenty feet out where the camera stays under water for at least 10 feet so I think it makes sense to have the line repaired or replaced.  Does anyone on here offer that service or have a reference for an outfit that does.

Thanks in advance,

Tom

I had a similar problem. stuff was settling in the low spot and continually clogging the line. I had to dig it up (6' down) and replace about 10'. It was old cement pipe which had sunk at the joints. I replaced the 10' section with ABS. No more problems. I did it myself alone. Rented an excavator from Home Depot for $200, cut out the old, had the pipe replaced and covered in 6 hours.
