Snow removal and lawn maintenance
I recently started managing a 20 unit apartment building for a family friend. In the management agreement, it’s doesn’t directly spell out who pays for the snow removal and lawn maintenance. I am paid 10% of the monthly income for managing the building and have been mowing the lawn with a riding mower provided by the owners, but with winter coming up, I’m not sure the standard practice for who pays for the snow removal. Do I pay for it or do I pass the bill into the owners?
