Security cameras, keypad locks?

Hello!

Looking for best recommendations when it comes to security cameras, motion sensor lights, key pad locks, ring cameras? For a MTR specifically, a keypad lock and deadbolt seems like the best option so theres no turnover of keys 4-5 times a year.

Any software/camera related, that can be controlled through an app where tenant can have constricted access to cameras but i as owner have full access?

Cameras just for front door, and over garage facing driveway/rear door. Is this invasion of privacy?

@Brady D'Hont keep a backup key in a lock box on site for the schlage encode. I have good luck with them and they have low battery warnings but things can still happen.  Ring cameras will need periodic recharging.

I don't know for ring but for nest the cameras need to be on a separate account from other homes. We were only able to give a live link to the tenant as the property was on our account and giving a log in would mean they had access to our cameras too. We could have changed this but that home is only a part time rental and the tenant seemed to adjust.  Exterior entries are fine and will be appreciated by many. some are anti-camera though.

I know for a couple of my STRs the management company uses the keypad system whereby they are able to set codes offsite for each renter and this is super helpful when working correctly. We have occasionally run into issues with the Internet being down at the STR and it not all going through with a tenant now using a code that doesn't work. As a workaround, we have a hidden lockbox that the tenant can access if code doesn't work and get a physical key. All that said, I would very much use the keypad as it just makes life generally easier for all.

We have been looking into cameras as well and I have been researching. I think it depends on your property as to where you put them, but we are thinking of either using a Ring or something near the front door to just monitor number of guests. In my opinion, exterior cameras do not represent an invasion of privacy.
