What flooring is best for bedrooms?

I am turning over my rental and need to replace the bedroom flooring. I’m wondering what flooring will make it most marketable  - carpet or vinyl plank?

It currently has carpet, while the rest of the house has vinyl plank flooring. I’m leaning towards putting the vinyl plank in the bedrooms as well since it’s less likely to hold odor and should be more durable, but wondering if that will be less appealing for families with smaller kids who often want to rent in this area.
