renters insurance with pet damage coverage??

Has anyone required renters insurance with pet damage coverage?  It looks like lemonade offers it.   Supposedly it will pay if your tenant's pets cause any damages up to $500?   Would love to hear anyone's experience.  Wondering how it would work, such as, I guess the tenant would have to file a claim since the insurance would be in their name?   What if they don't want to file the claim?  Anyway, I really couldn't find out mich info about it and calling lemonade really didn't help, the guy could hardly speak English.  Another question would be how this would work with the deposit.
