Hello!  Can anyone please recommend a Cleveland,OH vendor to repair or replace a heater.  Newbie, just had a furnace check on a duplex and one unit needs to be replaced apparently.  The PM says they do great work but every job they keep recommending a full replace...  Thanks!!

Hey Michael, totally get where you’re coming from, it’s pretty common for property managers to push full replacements when a repair might do the job. In Cleveland, older duplexes often have furnaces that can last longer with the right maintenance, especially if the heat exchanger and blower motor are still solid. I’d suggest getting an independent HVAC inspection that’s not tied to your PM before deciding, and make sure to ask for photos of the issue and a detailed quote breakdown, you’d be surprised how often a $3K “replacement” turns into a $400 repair once you get a second opinion.
