input about basics of property management

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone is willing to share a basic checklist they use for rental property inspections.

I’m also interested in what you typically go over with a tenant during the move-in/key handoff. I know setting expectations clearly from the beginning can prevent issues later, so I’d like to be more organized and consistent.

For those who self-manage or work as professional property managers, do you use a checklist to make sure you don’t miss anything? If so, I’d really appreciate any examples, templates, or key items you recommend covering.

Thanks in advance!
