VOICEMAIL SERVICE IN CANADA?

Hi BP'ers,

Since Google Voice isnt available in Canada!  >:(

Does anyone use or know of a similar company that does this kind of service?

Free or low cost but reliable.

I recently discovered that nettalk had a service outage and all Canadian numbers had been lost. Their solution was to provide an extension of service duration as compensation. Not much help to me as none of their potential numbers were now local calls in my area. Long and short, I switched to magicJack. Calls are clear, service seems reliable, I have a number I can give tenants and my voicemail is emailed to my phone. Ideal.

nettalk provides a phone line with voice mail for something over $100 a year, flat rate. They operate in Canada and we use it as our business line. The best thing though is the voice mail. We are usually off doing other things and so voice mail is essential to us. nettalk sends the voice mail to you as an email attachment so there is no dialing up, logging on or anything like that. Just click on the MP3 and you can listen to it right then and there on your phone. It is one of the services I can't do without as a real estate investor.

I don't do this myself but I believe that you can do call forwarding.
