Construction build prices
We are looking to build a new home outside of Toronto in the Owen Sound area. However I had assumed that we could have a comfortable home for about $200 per sq.ft. as a rough estimate of construction costs. I realize that this is a tough question without a lot more details but I am just trying to get a guesstimate for planning purposes.
Are there any Canadian custom builders on BP that can provide some guidance?

Hi @Brian Hosier. I understand that you posted this a while ago. Perhaps I can help - I am one of Owen Sound's largest real estate investors. Generally speaking, your cost estimate seems reasonable. How many square feet are you looking to build?
