Hello, I've recently started investing in condos and am looking at transitioning into detached homes. Is there any high level tips/tricks that would be helpful when starting to evaluate land vs. a condo?
I believe it is best to get a Realtor to send you some comparable sales so that you can be sure that you are not overpaying for the property.
Also, look at what else you can do with the property. Is the land big enough to do an addition or build a tiny home in the back?
Cities are starting to allow Tiny Home as an add on to some properties to help with the affordable housing crisis.
