Side hustle for money down

Marjo Naci
Posted

I'm 14 and I have 4 years until i can take actions in real estate . This 4 years i want to learn as much as I can about real estate and make some money so when I turn 18 I have some money down. What side hustle would you recommend me that can make me around 20k in 4 years(if that is possible)? Thank you!

Do you have a truck or large SUV/ or can you get access to one? In the past me and my wife have flipped furniture. You can find people on craigslist, offer up, and Facebook marketplace selling or giving away furniture. Some of it might need minor repairs or cosmetic touch ups. You can get a furniture marker set from amazon, some wood glue, some screws, etc. At one point we were making (on average) $100-200 per filp. On a few nice buffet pieces we made over $500.

The downside is that you got to lift heavy furniture, scour the web for deals, and be motivated. Only way you make money is if you are active and making it happen. I see no reason that you couldn't make 20k quite easily in a 4 year period.

Also, if you have access to a truck look into trash removal/ haul away services. Dump fees are really low, so it's almost all profit. Can make some pretty good money doing that as well. But again, you need to be motivated and willing to do hard work.
